The Journées Statistiques du Sud is a workshop gathering statisticians, coming mainly from the Universities of Barcelona, Marseille (Aix-Marseille 1), Nice, Toulouse (Toulouse 3) and Montpellier (Montpellier 2). Meeting activities include two mini-courses and various talks given by outstanding researchers. It aims at stimulating join works between scientists of our area and disseminating the latest developments of statistics, focusing on a selected topic of intensive research in the past few years.

The 2010 edition is held by the University Montpellier 2 and will take place at
Mèze, a nice marina located 40 kilometers west of Montpellier.

The topic of the 2010 edition is Modelling and Statistics in Systems Biology.
