Finsler metrics of low regularity and their transformations.

Résumé

Finsler metrics can be of high regularity, namely smooth with strongly convex unit balls or they can have very low regularity (say Borel measurable). In this talk I will discuss some motivations for studying Finsler metrics of low regularity and I will give conditions under which their isometries or quasi-conformal maps are differentiables. I hope to give some applications (if time permits).
